DETAILS:
The modern Oxford Jewish community, dating back to 1842,
has built its first mikvah (immersion pool for orthodox Jewish
women) in the grounds of the Oxford Chabad House, together
with a new community centre.
The front
elevation is clad in timber, and the roof acts as a rainwater
collector for the immersion
pool within.
Two luxurious
bathrooms lead into the mikvah pool.
