DETAILS:
An
existing balcony was utilised to create a purpose-made dismountable
oak enclosure, fully glazed in safety glass, with an extendable
yellow canvas canopy as a roof. As
required by Jewish Law, the canopy needs to be retractable
so that the succah can be exposed to the sky above.
Drainage of the internal floor was achieved by removing the
existing bitumen-covered concrete balcony slab, and replacing
it with yellow cast-iron self-draining floor panels. |
