New entrance to surgery

Dr Harris Sidelsky Golders Green, London NW11

New modern steel and glass entrance to an existing dental surgery on Finchley Road for Mr Harris Sidelsky in 2004, following a successful internal refurbishment in 1998.

The stainless steel canopy projecting horizontally from the mock Tudor domestic terrace advertises the contrasting high-tech dental practice within. It replaced a rotten timber rooflight which was located between the two semi-detached buildings.

The translucent glass doors and reflective properties of the stainless steel canopy present a bright and attractive night-time focus to passers-by.

The last 2 images show the buildings before construction.
